I did read it last year for my English class but I didn't remember much. The cultural representation was interesting to see and I learned about different Chinese traditions that aren't so common here. It was a realistic fiction book about a family that goes through a very hard time, this book has a lot of plot twists. But it did take me a little while to get into.
