She had become a Disney Star, on her way to absolute success. However growing up with paparazzi's around her and the spotlight facing her way, brought with it toxic situations and problems that would lead to disastrous effects. This had a fractious relationship with the media. Subsequently Lindsay fell into a downward spiral of drug abuse and alcoholism. In her eyes she was living the life and it was inconsequentially. When Lindsay was going trough all this problems the press and media attacked her, she was their main focus. You may ask yourself why? She was a human suffering and that made the best headline. This is because people would look up to her and compare their lives with her's to make themselves feel better. For times she would try to make this surreptitiously, but it eventually got out to the world. Because all of this Lindsay became considered a Tragic Hero. Hamlet and Lohan were both looked up to by the people. Hamlet was famous and loved by all of Denmark but after the death of his father he was unable to accept and the consequences followed him forever. He began to become an obscure character and be very arrogant at times which led people to believe that he was crazy, not with love but because of his father’s passing. Similarly Lohan grew up to be the exact opposite of what she was when she starred in The Parent Trap. What was a prudent sweet little girl in the movie grew up to be an alcoholic and drug addict which ruined her public perception. They are both connected by the fact that they feel pressured to be the best yet they are also in a state of quandary. Lindsay was pressured by Disney to be the best in acting. Because of all the pressure she had to endure this eventually led her to drug abuse. On the other hand, Hamlet felt pressured by his father’s ghost to take revenge of Claudius. However before this disaster she was once an innocent little girl. Lindsay was born on July 2, 1986. As stated before Lindsay's first major role in the theater industry was in 1998 for the Movie "Parent Trap" with Disney. Later in 2004 Lindsay was part of "Mean girls" which was a commercial success for her professional career.  Lindsay then extended her career into music and production. By December 2005 she released a darker and more intense side of her self with a new album, called "A little More Personal". However this did not stop Lindsay from the world and drugs and addiction. By 2007 she had committed her first mistake relating to driving under the influence which led to her placement in 3 rehabilitation centers. "I'm 20 years old. I like to party as much as anyone my age. Going clubbing is my way of relaxing or releasing a lot of stress. I don't feel that I should have to justify that part of my life. I don't know that I'm necessarily an addict." In this quote Lindsay clearly demonstrates how even though she had a problem relating to addiction and partying she still hadn't come to terms with her issue and accepting she needed help. As the years passed she still wasn't taking her like seriously, on 2010 Lindsay had failed a drug test and

During this time Lohan as under probation and it had been violated. There were people claiming they saw what she did. Lindsay was sentenced to 120 days of jail. However she did not agree this and placed a $75,000 bail.
