Chicken mukibil. Mukibil is a kind of big tamale, wrapped in banana leaves and cooked underground, in a dug down oven. Pan de muertos, or bread of the dead, is a kind of bread that is only made during this season.

Washington D.C was one of my great grandmas favorite places to be she loved how it was so beautiful and unique when she went to go visit my aunt they would walk around and admire the beauty and sounds in Washington that's one of the reasons why she liked it so much she described it as a beautiful place that she could call home

The day of the Dead or Dia de Los muertos is a the time to honor your loved ones that have died. You decorate there alter with the food they liked, pictures of them, and other things they liked. It's to honor there death it its not something that is sad it's a happy time to remember what they accomplished in life.
