The UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) participated in a workshop addressing antisemitism in early 2020. This lead to a broadened recognition of the importance of education in preventing antisemitism across participants from over 30 member states. The organization has published curriculum for teachers to address antisemitism at a classroom level. They provide four frameworks to choose from so they can apply to each grade level. This is just one example of an international, unified approach to eradicating antisemitism.

GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network) is a national organization that provides teachers with resources to help create a safe space and an "affirming learning environment" for students that are part of the LGBTQ+ community. The GLSEN Safe Space Kit is, in essence, a guide for teachers and other school administrators with information on how to be a proper ally. When people with authority openly support members of the LGBTQ+ community, it gives them a sense of security and safety especially against instances of bullying in schools. GLSEN also is home to family and student resources, a blog, network resources, and other essential allyship and community education materials.

Custom Contact: Resistbot

One resource to directly contact government officials or seek community support is Resistbot. This is an automated system that one can text a keyword, or topic, to in order to determine how a message will be processed or delivered. This can be used to get in contact with elected officials about things like local hate groups, community needs, or even start a petition. Contacting officials and gaining community support is essential in de-escalating the effects of hate groups. Only when those in power know the public concerns about groups like neo-nazis and white supremacists, can tangible change occur. Direct engagement with elected officials may help mitigate the fall out and perceptions of increased marginalization after events such as the January 6th, 2021 storming of the US Capital.

ADL monitors reported incidents, responds in collaboration with local network members, and actively speaks out against antisemitism with an emphasis on public education.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is an American nonprofit civil rights advocacy organization that operates on the National level. The group opposes white supremacist groups, domestic hate groups, and other extremists. The organization has had a string of successes by adhering to legal representation for victims of persecution by hate groups. They monitor thousands of these groups, publicizing their actions and alerting law enforcement. SLPC became famous as an educational program "Teaching Tolerance" in 1991 to educate communities and dismantle oppressive systems at the start. The educational branch of this organization has extended and now operates under the name "Learning for Justice." Additionally, the Southern Poverty Law Center categorizes hate groups that have the potential to denigrate or attack humanity, with a particular focus on those that are outside of their control. This is just one helpful weapon against systemic hatred and extremism.

Local organizations play a huge role in mitigating homophobia and building support around LGBTQ+ community members. Small community groups such as the Granite Public Library's Umbrella Alliance in Salt Lake City allow community members of differing ages and walks of life to engage in discussions and activities in a safe space. Often, these groups in turn allow marginalized members to find meaning and purpose in their communities through engagement and service projects in these local groups. Local level engagement helps personally connect members of a marginalized group to a support system.
