Cause- the gas stopped production and they would have to wait hours for a crew to check. -Effect the narrator was badly hurt by heat of the drill.
-Eo surprises the narrator by taking him to a place with grass and trees. -Cause she wants him to fight for their rights. Effect- They have a fight.
-Coming back from the plans with trees and grass they get caught and whipped. Cause- they were somewhere they weren't suppose to be. Effect- they got whipped.
-Eo dies by being hanged. Cause- She sang the forbidden song. Effect- The narrator burrys Eo (this action is forbidden so he get hanged too)
-Narrator wakes up in a tunnel wondering why he isn't dead. Cause- they saved him just in time. The guards start moving towards the two. Loran steps infront  of Eo to protect here and confront the guards. After being captured the two are taken to a stage and whipped on camera to be used as propaganda to keep people in place. Eo starts singing the forbidden song.
