I am starting my 10th year of teaching Early Childhood in the Winfield school district.  I love working with 3-5 year olds.  They are so eager to learn new things and the knowledge they grasp is amazing to me.  Since I have a Smartboard, laptops, and an ipad in my classroom I love to see what my students can do and I would love to learn new ideas on how to use this technology with young children.

That I have ran 2 full marathons and a half marathon, but I DO NOT know how to ride a bicycle.

I am also extremely busy with my 3 children, Matt, who's almost 9, Hailey, who's 6, and Mark, who just turned 1. I get to stay busy by taking my son to baseball practices, taking my daughter to gymnastics, going to baseball games, playing board games with my kids, reading with my kids, and chasing around a running one year old. They are all just like their mother, energetic.  For our summer vacation, we just got back from Chicago, and we have been enjoying going to Six Flags, swimming in the pool, and going on free field trips.

I want to get other people's ideas on easy and free technology tools.  I also would love to practice using some.  

 I do use technology in my class, but I am trying to find some new and inventive ways to help my students, parents, and other teachers.  Any ideas would be appreciated. I also would love to get some ideas on how to communicate with all of my siblings and my husband besides using group texting. I also started really using google docs share drive with a couple teachers at the end of last year.  We are all able to communicate with each other in an easy way.  

At home, my husband and I have a calendar that is linked together which gives us an easy way to show each other our schedules. I also have used group text messages to keep in touch with siblings.
