Humans effect the balance on earth in positive and negative ways. There's negative things like, constructing new things on animals habitats. Or pollution to air, land and water. Also think about this, what would happen if we tried to fill in the Everglades? All the things listed above would happen, and bring the balance down on Earth. Positive ways now! An positive thing is thinking before you do. That's a big thing! A additional thing is for example: People restoring the Everglades, and trying to undo all the harsh things they put that environment threw. Those people are trying to bring the balance back up in the Everglades. All the text above is how humans affect the balance on Earth.

humans affected the everglades by making the land into a town. Witch then that took away a lot of the wetlands away. Then they used the area to build on. Also they made farms witch there crops polluted the everglades water. Now the everglades are half the size it use to be 100 years ago. In 1947 they made everglades a national park. In 2000 people made a plan to restore the everglades water. The plan was going to take more then 30 years. that is how humans helped and hurt the everglades.

Humans also affected the Everglades by throwing trash everywhere whenever they thought they wanted too. They also affected the Everglades by building canals that drained all of the swampy water, it changed large areas of wetland into the land that people used as farming , And then fertilizers came to the Everglades and put fertilizer stuff on the crops witch polluted the waters and made it unhealthy and it would change the natural flow of the originated water. And the Everglades now is only half as big today as it was 100 hundred years ago. As this started happening it was leaving less water and food for the plants and animals to be able to live. And if all of the polluting stopped happening then the Everglades wouldn't be this affected by all of the people that want to pollute things.

The human effect on the everglades negatively are how 90 years back he everglades were clean and polluted then some people came to check out the area and some settled there. but some of the -people saw the everglade as a chance to create land where there was not. then some land developers came and built canals that drained the swampy waters.also changed a large part of it into farm land and towns for people. this changed the natural water flow causing less and less water for plants and animals.also the fertilizer from the crops polluted most of the waters in the everglades. farms and towns replaced much of the everglades. today, the everglades is only half the size as it was one hundred years ago. as you can see people can really not respect natural areas.
