I was about 10 years old when Mary appeared to me. I joined the Franciscans at 16 and was ordained at 24. Out of my love of God through Mary, I established the Militia of the Immaculata and the magazine, Knight of the Immaculata. I was known as Mary's knight because I would do anything for her. Who am I?

I was arrested twice by the Germans for preaching about God. I was released after three months the first time, but I was sent to Auschwitz concentration camp the second time. While I was imprisoned, I continued to preach, listened to confessions, and even gave up my life for someone else. Who am I?

I was born in Poland during Nazi Germany. As a child, I asked the Virgin Mary what was to become of me. Mary appeared to me with two crowns: one red for martyrdom and the other white for purity. I chose both.

My family and I lived in extreme poverty in Lourdes, France. One day while I was collecting firewood, a small lady dressed in white appeared to me. I had 17 other visions of the lady, who later identified herself as The Immaculate Conception and asked that a chapel be built in the grotto. Who am I?

I had 18 visions of Our Lady of Lourdes. The civil authorities tried to frighten me into recanting or taking back what I had seen, but I remained faithful to the visions. I was sent to the Sisters of Charity of Notre Dame in Nevers where I became a member of the community. I died from tuberculosis at the age of 35, was later canonized by Pope Pius XI, and my body is incorrupt. Who am I?

I am a princess from a small Grecian state in the 4th century. I lived during the reign of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, who wanted to marry me, but I refused him because I had taken a vow of virginity. He attempted to have me killed several times. An anchor was placed around my neck, I was stripped and beaten, I was pierced by arrows, and I was finally beheaded. Who Am I?

My heroic virtue is purity. Few people knew my story until I appeared to 3 different people around the world and told them of my martyrdom at the young age of 12 or 13. Those who pray for my intercession have been blessed in many ways: the blind see, the deaf hear, the cripple walk, and expectant mothers have healthy babies. My remains were found in 1802 in the ancient Roman catacombs of St. Priscilla. Who am I?

My heroic virtues are poverty and piety because I gave all my money to children who were poor. I lowered the age of First Communion from age 12 to 7, and I brought 10,000 children to Rome to be adopted while I was Pope. I am the Patron Saint of Children.

I was a humble farm boy from Italy. I wanted to remain a simple parish priest, but my superiors realized my talents. It wasn’t long before I was named Archbishop, and then, three days later, I became Cardinal. Eventually, I was elected Pope even though I didn’t think I was worthy of being Pope. Who am I?

I was born in Lima, Peru on December 9, 1579. At a young age, my father abandoned the family leaving me to grow up in deep poverty. As I grew older, I experienced a great deal of ridicule for being of mixed-race. In Peru, by law, all descendants of African or Indians were not allowed to become full members of religious orders. After many years with the Holy Rosary, I was granted the privilege to take my vows as a lay member of the Third Order of Saint Dominic by the prior Juan de Lorenzana who decided to disregard the law restricting me based on race. Assigned to work in the infirmary, I became known for encompassing the virtues needed to carefully and patiently care for the sick, even in the most difficult situations. I also founded an orphanage for abandoned children and slaves. I became great friends with both St. Juan Macías, a fellow Dominican lay brother, and St. Rose of Lima, a lay Dominican.
