HUMAN AND NATURE?

I took a breath and go outside of my house.

I close my eyes and listen to the nature, smell and touch my surroundings.

What's actually the common between us and the nature ?

In the morning light and evening's song,

We see where we and nature belong.

In every leaf and flower’s sway,

We live our lives in a similar way.

The river’s flow and heartbeat’s beat,

Show rhythms where life and time meet.

With every storm and sunny glow,

We share in cycles that come and go.

Mountains stand like goals we chase,

Their highs and lows, our trials embrace.

The whispering wind, our thoughts that roam,

In nature’s wide world, we find our home.

The stars above, our dreams that gleam,

In the vast sky, we share one dream.

In every creature, tree, and stone,

We see ourselves; we’re not alone.

For we and nature are intertwined,

In this grand world, together aligned.

Our lives are woven, threads combined,

In this shared journey, life is defined.

One example of emulating nature to help with daily problems is observing how trees endure storms.

Trees, with their deep roots and flexible branches, withstand strong winds and heavy rain by bending but not breaking. This resilience can teach us to develop inner strength and adaptability in the face of challenges.

For instance, when faced with a stressful situation at work, we can adopt a similar mindset. Instead of rigidly resisting the pressure, we can remain grounded in our core values (like the roots of a tree) while being flexible in our approach (like the branches). This might involve staying calm, reassessing our strategies, and being open to change, allowing us to navigate difficulties more effectively and emerge stronger, just as a tree does after a storm.

BEHIND THE BIRD'S WINGS

The function of bird's wings:

Bird wings are finely tuned at the feather level for precise flight maneuvers, using lightweight but strong bones and feathers. At the larger wing level, they are shaped to maximize lift, minimize turbulence, and ensure endurance during long flights.

Aircraft wings borrow these ideas, using streamlined shapes at small scales for efficiency and integrating multiple parts at large scales for stability and control during flight. This shows how nature's designs inspire effective engineering solutions.

To be biomimetic?

To advance bird wings from mimicking basic aspects to fully biomimetic systems, these key steps are crucial.

1. Develop integrated control systems that adjust wing shape and angle in real-time, akin to how birds optimize flight.

2.Design adaptive wing structures that change shape for different flight modes, using innovative materials.

3.Replicate the hierarchical organization of bird flight, ensuring components work seamlessly together.

4.Create energy-efficient propulsion systems inspired by bird flight techniques. Additionally, enhance wings with environmental adaptability features like self-healing materials and sensors. Rigorous testing and validation in various conditions are essential to refine designs and ensure reliability.

5.Prioritize ethical considerations throughout development to minimize environmental impact and ensure wildlife welfare.
