Then they settled on two houses of congress the senate and the house of representatives.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The 3/5 Compromise was when southern states wanted their slaves to be counted as people so the would have more representatives ,but northern states wanted slave owners to be taxed on their slaves because the slaves were property. they ended up n counting each slaves as 3/5 of a person, the south allowed this for representation and taxation purposes.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Commerce Compromise was when the North wanted slavery abolished and the south wanted it to stay. The North agreed to wait 20 years to vote on the issue f banning the slave trade. This means the south could still import slaves from Africa. </div>]]></description>
