I am not at the court house, and I have to defend this man, a man in an unfortunate disposition because of his racial orientation. I am going to try to win, but I know the possibilities of our success is low. The white populous of the town is against me, and the  other demographic is for me. Based on the discrepancies between Heck Tate's and Bob Ewell's testimonies, there is definitely some false attributes. Bob couldn't conduct himself respectfully, and he wrote with his left hand, which is where a majority of the injuries Mayella sustained were found, according to the testimony of Heck Tate. I am trying to be civil with a broken woman who has instigated part of this crime. She is not conducting herself accordingly, and I am trying to be courteous with her. Tom is not very affluent, but he is doing quiet well for this trial. I hope my closing statement is swaying the jury. If I can identify Tom's innocence to the jury through the contradictions of Heck's and Bob's testimony, we may win. Why didn't he get an ambulance for Mayella, or attempt to get help for her? Why didn't he get a practitioner to collect medical evidence?
