"A note about me: I do not think stress is a legitimate topic of conversation, in public anyway. No one ever wants to hear how stressed out anyone else is, because most of the time everyone is stressed out." This shows how the author can be relatable to the people around her.

Joaquin Bernal Per 2 Question 2

For context the author is in a photo shoot in a elementary school for the show "People", she was really exited for the shoot. Unfortunately her stylist brought beautiful dresses that didn't fit the author. She was so disappointed that she excused herself to the bathroom and started to cry. She tries to obtain toilet paper to dry her tears, but the only stall that had toilet paper had "excrement smeared on the wall, and next to it, in black sharpie pen, someone had scrawled, "This school is bs"" She laughed so much she gained her confidence and forced the stylist to ruin one of the beautiful dresses to make it fit the author. The point of this story is that the author has conflicts but makes it funny and interesting to the reader. It also points out the point of how exaggerated the author can be.
