    In 1922, three Englishmen were traveling through Peru. At the same time of their introduction, they were the only three men in the railroad car. Their introductions were more surprising than they could have imagined. One man said his last name was Bigham, and the second man said his last name was Powell. 
         The third man announced that his last name was Bingham-Powell. None of the men were related in any way. The men were left speechless by the coincidence.

The Johnsons had been told that they might see some whales when they were chartering a yacht for a 10-day sailing trip around the Whitsunday Islands. However, they had no clue just how close their viewing would be. Two hours into their journey a nine-meter-long humpback whale leapt out of the ocean and crashed into their boat before returning to the water.
         [2]Mark Johnson, the eldest son, was sailing the yacht when he heard an immense bang and a thud. He immediately thought the yacht had hit a rock. However, when he looked up, he saw the whale sliding down the deck of the boat. He told reporters, "We were staring into its right eye. It was a very scary moment. The eye was about the size of a dinner plate. It was huge."
         [3] Luckily for the Johnson family, no one was hurt, but the yacht suffered severe damage. The whale had ruined the mast and rigging—the pole and ropes which hold the sail—the pole and ropes which hold the sail—and so the family was stranded at sea, 10 miles from the shore. The radio equipment was also damaged, but fortunately they had a cell phone and were able to call for help. About one and a half hours later, another boat arrived to take them back to shore. 
         [4] Why the whale jumped onto the yacht is a mystery, but the family thinks that maybe the boat had inadvertently sailed between the whale and its baby calf. Perhaps the whale was trying to reach its calf when it jumped, and hit the yacht by chance. 
         [5] Whatever the reason, people are completely amazed that this incident happened. There is over 135 million square miles of ocean, so what are the chances of a whale jumping onto a 30-foot-long yacht?
