While communication had existed for long before language, language allowed them to express ideas that could not be shown in previous communication forms. A second contribution made by Homo Sapiens was their advanced forms of tool making. While other species had made tools earlier, Homo Sapiens made advanced, crafted tools which helped them survive and become a dominant species. A third contribution made by Homo Sapiens was art and jewelry. Art first emerged as cave drawings, and is a cultural aspect that lets them express themselves and share stories with others. Another contribution of Homo Sapiens was the domestication of plants and animals. This was important to their survival and is when Homo Sapiens adapt plants and animals to help them with their needs. Contributions of Homo Sapiens include, but are NOT limited to those shown on the list. They have made many, many other contributions.
