         <title>Close Reading is taking the time to re-read a text in order to extract meaning. After a Close Reading, Students should be equipped to talk and write about the text. I felt validated that it is Ok to re-read a text and that looking at text closely requires a multi-day commitment.&amp;nbsp;</title>
