As short and sweet as this answer is, I find it very satisfying just because who my parents are. They are unique people who do things they want and how they want to do it. I don’t hate the name Abigail; I just think it is dated and old. Abbey seems more fun and different. Especially with how my parents choose to spell it. Almost everyone spells my name wrong at first (Abby being the most common). I think the –ey is a nice way of switching things up and being different. On a smaller note I also like that my name is spelled like The Beetles album cover. Music is something that I love, and Abbey Road is, in my opinion, one of the most iconic and famous albums yet. If not knowing the name of the album recognizing The Beetles crossing the road. Overall I think Abbey is the name for me, I don’t know another name that would fit me more and I wouldn’t think of changing it.
