Kou said he would only come back if the father promise to always be friends with the bears and he keep that promise and they was closer than they ever was before.

The boy went far out of the village to some cliffs and soon met up with some bears and started to play with the bear cubs and the mother bear took care of the boy. The people of the village went searching for him and the father had to go look for him and the mother bear would not let the father inside the cave. So the father was mad. The medicine man told the father he should get his son back with love and told him not to be cruel to the bears. The father got some honey gave it to the bears and then he went up to his son and told he was taking his son back home. Then the father taught the boy how to wrestle and run soon the boy was the best wrestler and was also the best runner.

He then knew that he had to change his ways for his son and better himself .

Now the mother bear is caring for your boy as you should have done all along.”This changed his altitude because he known once the medicine man told him this than it was time for him to get his son back but the bears taught him “I shall treat you as a father should treat his son.”

His father was like never there for him and Kuo was mostly alone. His father didn’t guide him thru his manhood. Once his father saw Kuo with bears he felt wrong because he made a mistake because he didn’t spend time with him. He didn’t pay attention to his son a lot. Now he learned to love him and care about him and be a father to him.
