My Math 3 Fourth Quarter Journey was both confusing and sometimes understandable

Math 3 made me realize what I need to do to optimize my learning experience, not only that but it also helped me learn new things that are confusing or sometimes "topics that make me question if I will use this in the future................."

although I know I did not perform well i really enjoyed the binomial expansion theorem. I was fascinated with the triangle and its patterns and how it is used in math.

The concept that was easy to learn for me was summation notations

i believe this was easy because of the continous examples and usage during the fourth quarter, This is something i always see and also not that hard because of calculator shift[x]

the topic that i find interesting was how arithmetic sequences because of the story sir told us about the grade school student understanding sequences

The concept I mastered the most is finding a specific part of the sequence because of formulas

This is because of the formulas and also sometimes the number is very near so I use my mind instead

The concept I have mastered the least was finding specific terms on a binomial with coefficients greater than one or generally complicated

It was confusing tbh it was not only this but sometimes sample word problems of sequences or series

Did I develop a better appreciation for math?

To be honest it was sometimes yes and sometimes no. But eventually as the quarter ends I realized that even if I dont really see the application or sometimes these were conceptual. I try my best to understand that these will enrich my knowledge or sharpen my knife.

I really appreciate how sir Joseph try and show proofs and make math look easy when he is solving! Sir is so approachable, and though math is not really the subject I am into, l find math enjoyable because of his classes and comments and the way he teaches!

I hope I find the motivation to appreciate math more and to strive. I know it is on my part why math is sometimes confusing, so I hope to do better in the following years and remember the learnings from my previous years
