On the cheek cell it looked like little blobs. Inside of those little blobs I could see one big dark sphere in the center (the nucleus) and smaller dots scattered throughout the cytoplasm. I think that those where the ribosomes. It was very interesting to see lots of different parts of the cell. In the elodea it looked like a brick wall with smaller spheres in them. The smaller spheres where the chloroplasts inside of the plant cells. The plant cells look a lot more uniform and in shape then the animal cells which where in all different crazy shapes. In more common terms the plant cell looked like marching band after a few years and the animal cells looked like a marching band on the first day. It was very interesting to see the way that the plants cells where very uniform. The methylene blue was very helpful in seeing the cells because it brought out where the cell was.

On the cheek cell you could see the cells nucleolus clearly, unlike the Elodea cell. I also noticed that the Elodea cell was in an aliened pattern unlike the cheek cell.

First of all, I noticed that the plant (elodea) cells were much more defined than the animal (cheek) cells. All plant cells have a cell wall, which gives it a very defined shape (almost a rectangle). I was also able to see clusters of what I believe were chloroplasts, which I could see because of the methylene blue. The animals cells were more of a big "blob", and I was able to see the nucleus, the cell membrane, and the cytoplasm. I wasn't able to see much more, possibly due to the fact that they're so small, and the microscope that we used only goes up to a 400 zoom.

I saw on the cheek cell mostly blue tiny globs of cells. On those, you could see the nucleus, cytoplasm and the cell membrane. But on the plant cell, things looked much different. Where you could easily see the chloroplasts, and sometimes even the nuclei, of cells. But one one of the big things that I noticed where the cell walls, of the Elodea cells. This probably made them appear in patterns/rows in cells.

In the cheek cell, we just looked at one cell, but it was more of a blob, and you could see the nucleus. On the Elodea, you couldn´t see the nucleus, just the little balls (chloroplasts) in clumps that made one big clump.

When I first saw the Elodea, the first thing I noticed was the chloroplast. I noticed the chloroplast first because they were moving. I also noticed the cell wall right away as well. Because I looked at the cheek cell first, the cheek cell didn't have a cell wall, I noticed the cell wall. With the cheek cell I didn't see things as clear a the elodea. The cheek cell looked like a big blob in stead of a more organized cell like the elodea.
