this book is easy to follow because it thoroughly describes new characters in the book for example on pg. 21 it describes lauren as " only sign of her existence was a splay of orange hair poking up from the top of the covers.......tearfully , her pale eyes swollen and puffy. " this makes the book easier to follow because we can picture the character better and separate them from her other friends .

I can relate to this because I have a brother and I think we all look up to our siblings at some point in our lives and i know i miss my brother when I don't see him for a while . so this is just something I relate to regularly .

the powerful message that I found was that no matter how kind you are to people you can always be painted and twisted into a monster . I found this message in the text because the person accused of murdering andie bell was always said to be nice to everyone and never get mad or make you feel small. But somehow he still got painted out to be the killer no questions asked no further investigation. pg.43

This book is easy to follow because it describes new settings very well. For example on page 45 it describes mrd wards study by saying " Pip on the swivel desk chair and Naomi across from her on the red leather recliner .naomi wasn't looking at pip instead she was staring at the 3 paintings on the far wall .Three rainbow colored canvases of the family . " It goes on with even more but this very accurately helps me imagine where they are and how the study they're in looks . This can help the reader better understand the situations and where they are .

Their stories didn't really add up and that was suspicious. Basically on pg. 51 Naomi said that sal talked about leaving early and how him and andi were fighting . But Max said he said nothing about andi and slipped out the door without telling anyone . So this makes someone more suspicious .

The powerful message that I found was that sometimes friends ask a little more than you should give . For example on pg. 55 they are talking about how Sal asked his friends to lie to the cops about when he left the house so he didn;t look guilty . And they did it but they definitely should not have lied to the cops for lots of reasons . So i feel like this message really proved how you shouldn't do everything your friends ask of you .

I got this message because when Pip interviewed a few people she started to suspect Naomi someone shes known her whole life could be guilty .

This book hits the right target audience because this book is told through a first person point of view from our main character. this makes it the right target audience because in Young adult literature that is one of the rules . by telling the story through the first person the story is easier for you to get readers to connect to . pg. 161

This book was easy to follow because It described Andi sister Becca very descriptively . This makes it easier to follow because she was a new character and I didn't know her . So since she described her as almost a spitting image of Andi bt with shorter hair and a looks like painting I can paint a better image in my head . pg. 210

a powerful message I found in my book is that some people need more time than others to accept reality . I found this because on page 215 it talks about how andis mom left her room the exact same even after he was presumed dead . she said this because she was still hopeful And I would come back and want to be in her room with everything the same . This really hit me because that would be super difficult for amotherto cope with and she just need more time than the rest of her family

This makes him look even more guilty because they portrayed a very perfect family dynamic but turns out it was pretty evil . pg . 217

this character was relatable Becca . she was relatable because she started to get really down on herself and develop a eating disorder and self harm because her dad made her feel so awful about herself and take down her self esteem. And I relate to this because I can see how that happens because parents are very important inputs in teenage lives and to have the feedback is really hard and would take you down hard. pg. 221
