         <description><![CDATA[<p>Explore the, diverse in landscape, island of Skyros</p><p><br/></p><p>Skyros is an island located on the heart of the Aegean sea. For basic information; it is a small island diverse in landscape (landhills, rocky mountainous landscapes, beaches e.t.c.), astonishing beaches, natura landscapes and more to be found. </p><p><br/></p><p>HOW TO REACH THE ISLAND?</p><p>You can reach the island via airplane from Athens and Thessalonica and by driving until you reach Kimi, where, the next part of your trip is by taking the ferry boat to the island.</p><p><br/></p><p>NATURAL BEAUTY</p><p>If you go to the island in the summer, you can visit : Molos beach, Kalamitsa beach, Saint Phokas beach, Pefkos beach, and Agalipa beach. Of course, there are more than just some beaches; Shall you like forests and find yourselves there, the northern part of the island has a dense pine forest, while for anyone who likes hiking, in the southern part of the island, mount Kohilas is located there.</p><p><br/></p><p>LANDMARKS</p><p>The island is home to many byzantine medieval churches/chappels, like the church of Saint George of Skyros, Saint Nickolas church and more. It's also worth visiting the Manos Faltaits' museum, and the archeological museum of the island.</p><p><br/></p><p>PLACES TO STAY</p><p>Some of the hotels that you can stay while being on the island are: Yasemi Skyros, Perigiali Hotel, Onar Villas Skyros, Skyros Palace hotel and more.</p><p><br/></p><p>PLACES TO EAT (TAVERNS AND RESTAURANTS)</p><p>Some of the places that you can go to eat are: Agios Petros (Saint Peter) tavern, Ammos Veranda restaurant, Mouries traditional restaurant and more.</p><p><br/></p><p>CITY/TOWN OF SKYROS</p><p>Wander around the all-white houses that are the one next to the other and get enchanted with their glamourous decorations. Wander around in the picturesque alleys that have the smell of  jasmine and basil, and admire up close the one and only Skyros Horse (the only one of its kind!). </p><p><br/></p><p>LOCAL DELICACIES</p><p>Of course, you can find souvlakeries where you can get the famous in all of Greece/Hellas "Gyros", but it you can go to eat some local delicacies too. At the "Gallery" store, you can purchase local honey from Skyros. There are also other sweets, such as the "macaroons", dairy and beekeeping products and you definately should eat the Skyros goat.</p><p><br/></p><p>ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO IN SKYROS</p><p>You can go to pouria beach and see the "Stone mushroom" located there. You can also have some quality time by riding the Skyros horses and to aslo go to a little cruise in Alonisos.</p><p><br/></p><p>Take a wonderful trip to the jewel of the Sporades, Skyros, so you can admire the beauties of the place, learn the local history, enjoy the local flavors, live beautiful and carefree moments and experience the warm hospitality of the residents.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong><em><mark>Panagiotis Kyrkas</mark></em></strong></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Located in the central part of the island Evoia,Amarynthos is a town approximatelly 30 kilometers east from Chalkis and 105 kilometers away from Athens.</p><p><br></p><p>A few things about Amarynthos:</p><p>Amarynthos is an ancient village estimated to be firstly built around the early 1300 BC , with actual proof that a soldier was sent to the Trojan War who was from our <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://town.In">town. In</a> 2025 Amarynthos with a population of 3,147 inhabitants, according to the 2011 census, Amarynthos is one of the largest towns in Evoia and the largest in the Municipality of Eretria. A plain stretches around the city to the foot of Mount Olympus, with the history of the area stretching back to the Neolithic period, while later on Amarynthos became an important commercial center and was known in antiquity for the worship of the goddess Artemis, of which there is a ruin of a temple just outside the town.</p><p><br></p><p>Where to stay:</p><p>Amarynthos has two main hotels and lots of rooms to let during the summer period while some of them even rent appartments during autumn ,winter and spring.The most famous one ,yet the biggest one is Stefania ,located on the western beach of the town.</p><p><br></p><p>Attractions and Tourist Destinations:</p><p>The main tourist attraction in my town Amarynthos is the ruins of an ancient temple dedicated to goddess Artemis discovered in the late 2020 and started excavating in the begining of <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://2021.Next">2021.Next</a> to the temple ruins there are two </p><p>Byzantine-built churches that still stand to this day.The first one is the holy Byzantine church of the transfiguration of the saviour and the oldest one is the holy Byzantine church of the Dormition of Virgin Mary .Another attraction is a memorial in the central square of our town .The memorial is dedicated to the people from our town who fought in the 1st world war, the 1921 campaing in Smyrna , the battles against Italy in 1940 and the 2nd world war.</p><p><br></p><p>Where and what to eat:</p><p>In Amarynthos there are multiple steakhouses and taverns to chose from to eat or enjoy a traditional Greek ouzo. Or drink your morning coffee to one or more of lots of Cafeterias/bars where you could also enjoy a beverage or a night drink.</p><p><br></p><p>Activities that you can do in Amarynthos:</p><p>First things first,you can play football in our football field ,or you could play basketball right next to the football field. Arounf our local field you would also want to try jogging or running.</p><p><br></p><p>Explore the striking city of Amarynthos and admire the rare landscape of this town ,enjoy the sun that hits our town most of the year, experience things with your friends if you visit this awesome town to make unforgettable memories and relax by hearing the sounds of the waves of the sea.</p><p><strong><mark>Antonis Bakouris</mark></strong></p>]]></description>
