3.  to find the total of a unit, example: if your trying to find ( 20% is 10 of x )  you would write out your expressions out as fractions (20/100 = 10/x) to figure out what is X you would need to cross multiply 20/100 and 10/x that would give you (1000=20x)
4. then you dived (1000=20x by 20) to cancel out the 20 to get X by it's self and that will give you 50 as your total
5. For the algebraic expression your figuring out ( % is X of total) 
6. For an example: (50% of 90 is x) I am going to show you two different ways to solve this problem 1. (50/100=x/90) so you would cross multiply and that would give u (100x = 4500) then you would divide by 100 and that would give you    45 as your answer 2. First, go to the switch on the right  handle bar  that says on/off, that switch will start the battery so the engine can start when you kick it. Second, you have to turn the dial on the gas line to the position, look for the metal dial pointing down to open the fuel line. This allows fuel to enter the engine so your bike can start. The fuel line connects to the tubing on the lower side of the bike. Third, pull the choke up if you choose to cold-start the bike. Forth, shift your bike into neutral. use the clutch on the left handle-bar and the shifter near your left foot to switch the bike into neutral position if its not already there . While in neutral your bike should rock back and forth freely when you move it. Plus, Don't touch the clutch right away while you start the bike so you don't accidentally shift gears.5th after opening the fuel line and putting the bike into neutral crank the gas handle 3 times so you can let it snap into place.
