Arrivel time:

  Please try to be there by car before 9 p.m. and at the bus stop before 8 p.m.

  
  

  N.B. We do rent the place so it will not be possible to arrive earlier or to stay longer.

! Please bring your own lunch/snacks if you arrive early (from 12 pm on) at Saterday December 27. Communual dinner will be provided that evening

• A fitted sheet for the mattress (or a blanket to wrap around the mattress)

• A pillow case

• A case for the duvet (1 person)

• A towel

• A swimming trunk in case you wanna join an excursion tot the swimming pool or sauna (only possible with swimwear)

• earplugs and a sleeping mask can be really helpful in case you are a light sleeper

• something like pajamas/nightdress in case you get easily cold at night or bring an extra (fleece) blanket

• an item for the auction (this can be anything like a card/painting/stone/clothes, something that you don't need anymore and like to give away)

  
  

* If you cannot bring your own bedding please let Egg know by a PM on WhatsApp. This service is limited and only available for people who are in need to travel light.

Renting bedding is €12,50 extra and €7,50 for towels, please bring this cash in case you really need to rent this.

How to get to the Gathering?

Carpooling:

If you would like to offer a ride or wish to request a ride, please submit these requests using this form. Omni will contact you and attempt to match you with someone.

By Car:

The house is approximately a 2 hour drive from Amsterdam and a 2,5 hour drive from airport Schiphol.

By public transport:

Please figure the public transport out before you leave, the gathering is at a small place and busses do not go frequently to the place or later in the evening.

1 Take a train to train station Assen (Drenthe),

2 from there a bus goes to Halte/ Bus station P+R, Gieten (Qbuzz Qliner Bus 310, direction Veendam)bus 28, direction Dwingeloo)

3 the next bus is Qbuzz 59 direction Exloo through Drouwen.

Bus stop/Halte Borgerweg 23, Gasselte. From there it is a 10 min walk (600 meter) to the Kwartjesberg.

! From Bus station P+R Gieten you can try to take a bus that gets closer to our place. But this is a 8 person bus and goes not frequently. So if this is not possible we can Pick you up from Bus Station P+R Gieten (10 minutes drive by car from the Gathering)

! If you want to have a pickup by car from the busstop please fill in this pickup form with the approximate time you will arrive and from which bus stop.

By Bus or BlaBlaCar:

You can also consider Flixbus or BlaBlaCar.

Nearest Flixbus: Groningen city and Amsterdam. There is a direct flixbus from Berlin to Groningen. Form Copenhagen you can take a flixbus to Hamburg and from there to Groningen. From Groningen it is circa an hour to the place by public transport. Please check public transport beforehand.

By Plane, nearest airports (travelmath.com):

Car sharing

We will arrange this later but do not count on it. Most people will come to the gathering by public transport so car sharing will be very limited.

This is a community-based, non-profit event. The contribution is for the whole gathering, food and lodging. Recommended a minimum of €250 to cover the costs.

Please pay what you can so we will not have a shortage and so that everyone can join the gathering. ! Extra donations are very welcome to make the gathering accessible for everyone.

It will possibly to contribute based on your income as follows:

• €200 - €250 minimum income

• €250- €300 regular income

• €300 or more, above regular income

NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds) policy: please let us know if you are on a budget and cannot afford the minimum rate.

When to pay?

After you registration we will ask you to pay a deposit of €100 as a confirmation. You will get this money back by cancellation till two weeks before the start and in case of an emergy. If the deposit of €100 is not possible for you we will make an other arrangement with you.

You can pay the other part of your contribution by bank transfer before arrival or with cash at arrival.

Every morning there will be an all together circle, to plan the day with the workshops/activities, tasks and practicalities.

Participants will give different, marvellous workshops, for example body work, creative ones, healing, massage and much more; and there will be heartcircles (sharing form the heart); walks in nature and excursions. You will choose for yourself which activities you will attend.

You can also offer individual services like giving/receiving a massage, tarot reading, etc

Every day there will also be tasks to be done, like dish washes, cooking, cleaning. We do ask everyone to participate in these activities, it is also a nice way to get to know each other.

There are also different roles of faeries during a gathering like emotional welfare faeries and faeires who coordinate.

For the evenings we can sing with the guitar, do a cuddle puddle, dance, play boardgames or just chill. Workshops in the evening are also welcome. Some special dates to celebrate with a ceremony:
