The playhouse is a really good resource for us to rely on if everything else fails and we haven't planned on even using the hiring source just because they're bound to have what we're looking for. We can access online from anywhere we need to because the college as lots of computers around and all it takes is to find what we're looking for, ask permission to buy it and the one of the tutors will buy it for us.

Although online is the best way to find costumes and to price match costumes and items it can also be really hard to find specific niche costumes and items as well as the fact that ordering can take a long time depending on the website (unless it's amazon and we have next day delivery) and for example we could find a really amazing dress but it's from China and it's going to take 2 months for us to get it.  ]]> 2022-04-19 13:54:15 UTC https://padlet.com/hollie900naylor/oxna8i6m4z22rs5u/wish/2148624309 hollie900naylor https://padlet.com/hollie900naylor/oxna8i6m4z22rs5u/wish/2148624492 Our storage is wonderful and full of costumes from other productions and has lot's of niche costumes and items that would be difficult to find anywhere else, as well as this it's right inside our department which means we can go and look in our storage at any point in the day as many times as we want this makes it really easy for us to make and put costumes together as well as it works well as an "emergency wardrobe" in case something goes horribly wrong with a hire costume or a costume we got from a shop or online we can rely on something being in the storage and although it won't be a perfect fit at all it's something and it doesn't cost us any of our budget!

Despite the storage being a really easy and accessible place it doesn't have everything we always need which means we can't rely on it fully all the time and it is kind of a last minute place for us to go if everything else goes wrong and we've got all the costumes we can get from there. The second budget came down massively but we were still over budget by a lot, 98 pounds to be exact which also left us with no contingency budget left over unfortunately this was unavoidable because the director really wanted the main suits and dresses along with lab coats and she really didn't want to budge, we was only just allowed to do this but the risk was high and I didn't feel comfortable with it at all.

These notes are really helpful because we write down information that we can look at later to help ourselves out as a reminder or a motivator.

These notes help remind us of things the director wants us to do for them like making spreadsheets or what the director likes like a certain costume or colour scheme, these notes can work as a checklist for our team to look at and make sure that we've been doing what we've been asked to do.

They also help us communicate when things have been done by the directors that we've asked them to do like checking if the actors have shoes they can wear.
