Some of the peaks of the mountains were a little bit over twenty thousand feet. But most of the trails past the mountains were really narrow and dangerous. But some people that take the trail often are dizzy and get some sort of headaches and lack oxygen. In the Western Silk Road the Egypt people traded perfumes, cosmetics, and carpets. The central Asian travelers usually brought some sort of metal, dyes, and sometimes they would even trade some slaves. The Chinese people often wanted glass products from the Romans and the Romans wanted gold for silk.
