The irony is that the more we use technology such as eg AI in career aspects eg Job search, the more critical the human touch becomes. Think about this; if AI is being used to make the job search process easier such as cover letters, customising resumes etc...this means it is easier to apply to more jobs and HR/hiring managers will be overwhelmed. Hence, these HR/hiring managers will turn to networking and referrals to hire faster and safer. While technology change, some things will never change.

Implementing the use of emerging platforms in our work e.g. data collection and analysis will help streamline processes and increase our productivity.

While we may support students on how to leverage on AI tools e.g. for resume building, it's more important that we teach them the fundamentals of what IS required in e.g. a resume that is true and aligns with the individual's capabilities and personality. This personalised ECG support can only come (at least for now) from a human.
