         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:</strong> a figure formed by the intersection of a plane and a right circular cone. Depending on the angle of the plane with respect to the cone, a conic section may be a circle, an ellipse, a parabola, or a hyperbola. <br><strong>1.)</strong>A circle, ellipse, parabola, or hyperbola are the different types of conic sections. <br><strong>2.)</strong>A conic section is the intersection of a plane and a cone.<br><strong>3.)</strong>Conic sections are formed using double cones with tips.<br><strong>4.)</strong>By changing the angle and location of intersection can produce a circle, ellipse, parabola, or hyperbola.</div>]]></description>
