The wampanoag tribesmen gave them seeds and taught thew how to fish, so the next year's bountiful harvest was cause fur celebration oud gratitude

Thanksgiving Day was first celebrated in 1621 by the settlers of the Plymouth Colony. These settlers, who were later called Pilgrims, left England. This was because they wished to break away from the established Church. Furthermore, they sought to worship God in their own way.
 Mayflower (in Spanish it would be translated as Flower of May) is the name of the ship that, in 1620, transported the so-called Pilgrims from the Kingdom of England, (today England in the United Kingdom), to a point on the eastern coast of America del Norte, now located in the United States of America.
