When Elisabeth was two years old, her mother was killed, she was executed and charged for infidelity and betrayal. Elisabeth and her older sister were deprived their place in the line of succession. The same year, Henrik married to Jane, and they got a son in 1537 named Edvard 6. Jane died right after Edvard was born, and when he was 10 years old, Henrik dies to. The Edvard died in 1547, Elisabeth and Maria get in the line of succession again, and now it was Maria’s time to become queen in England.

She was also in prison for some years. Maria dosen't like the protestants, so she killed around 300 peoples. After this, Maria gets the nickname Bloody Mary. In 1558 Elisabeth gets queen. Maria is now dead, and Elisabeth was the next in the line of succession.

She could read the Bible on Greek, and she could talk French, Italian and German. Elisabeth was an amazing woman to handle different situations and hard decisions. People liked Elisabeth, and the time when she was queen, was a “goldtime”. In the period when Elisabeth was queen, England was one of the richest country in Europe. Elisabeth stabilised the economy, and she was a great leader for the country. Her adviser, William Cecil, and her, had a close teamwork, he helps her a lot. She was also a good listener, and she get some great ideas from the Parliament.

It was a big divide between the Catholics and the Protestants. The Queen in Scotland, is a Catholic, and she have threatened Elisabeth many times, she is married to the king of French.  Because of the religions, Spain and French started a war with England in 1588. The Spanish armanda was the name of this war. Spain and French sends 160 armandas, with 30 000 people to England.  England was the strongest part, so they wins the war. 

Elisabeth died 24. Mars 1603. After that, Scotland and England get the same king.
