There is an episode where one of the suspects is accused of participating in a murder, but he was a actually innocent. Everyone believed that he was guilty because he was seen at the crime scene after the murder had actually happened. She also says that they need to find a way of separating King and Steve without making King look bad. We find out that Dorothy Moore is King’s cousin and that, according to George Nipping, King is left-handed so he couldn’t have shot Mr. Nesbitt because the person who shot him had to be right-handed. Steve and O’Brien play a game which consists of Steve answering some questions and if O’Brien is satisfied with his answer, she turns the cup up, but if she’s not she turns it down. This game will prepare Steve for when he takes the stand, he needs to testify to get some distance between him and King. Steve considers King, Cruz and Evans as acquaintances, not as friends. Sawicki, Steve’s film teacher, confirms that Steve was working on a project in December.
