It is on the edge of the largest natural lake in South Wales, formed by glacial movements thousands of years ago. On the caravan site there are numerous static caravans that are able to be rented out for a minimum of 3 nights, these caravans are sleek, up to date, and modern with central heating. You can also stay in a touring caravan that you bring yourself or a tent on the numerous fields with many many pitches, however like the static caravans you must stay a minimum of 3 nights. There are many activities to participate in the surrounding areas, for example, you can hike the breath taking views and vast mountains of the Brecon Beacons, with places like Pen Y Fan nearby, or the 4 waterfalls trail. There is also a horse riding centre nearby that offers many different things, it is a great day out for a family. There are also many events that happen in the area, for example, the Brecon jazz festival where you can go for great entertainment with good company and a good drink, this event takes place in the summer and attracts many. It has free parking, free wifi, a private hot tub, and a large TV with netflix already installed. For 4 nights it is just over £1000, which may seem like a lot, but when split between numerous people it will reduce the cost for each individual person. Just like the Lakeside Caravan Site, there is a lot to do, such as, hiking in the numerous trails and locations in the local area, the horse riding centre which is great for family days out, and Llangorse Lake were you can go fishing, canoeing, or if you have your own boat you can go water skiing etc. There are also many shops in the local areas such as Talgarth, Llangorse and Brecon where you can shop for food and put the large and modern kitchen to good use.
