1. The Importance of Sincere Intention: Ensuring that our purpose in seeking knowledge is pure and for the benefit of others, rather than for personal gain or praise.

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) explained that Islam is based on five pillars: declaring the two testimonies of faith, performing prayers, giving zakat (charity), fasting during the month of Ramadan, and performing Hajj if one is able.

2- What is Iman (faith)?

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) explained that Iman consists of six main articles: belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Day of Judgment, and divine predestination, both good and bad.

3- What is Ihsan (excellence)?

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) explained that Ihsan is to worship Allah as though you see Him, and even if you cannot see Him, you should be aware that He sees you.

• Seek knowledge with sincerity:-

  Approach learning with a pure intention, aiming to benefit oneself and others rather than for personal gain or recognition.

• Seek guidance from experts or referring to someone more knowledgeable:-

  If we are uncertain or lack knowledge about a particular matter, it is advisable to seek guidance from someone who has more expertise or understanding in that part.

• Do not be afraid to ask questions:-

  Do not hesitate to seek clarification or information if we are unsure about something.

• We must adhere to the Qur'an, Hadith, and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as a guide for life, so that we remain on the right path and spread the true teachings of Islam.

• The oneness of God (Tawhid) is central. We as muslims have to believe that Allah is the sole creator, sustainer, and sovereign of the universe.

• We also have to believe in the existence of angels, created by Allah from light. They serve various roles, including delivering messages and recording human deeds.

3) Belief in Kutub (the Holy Books) :

• We need to accept the divine scriptures revealed to various prophets, including the Taurat (to Prophet Musa a.s), the Zabur (to Prophet Daud a.s), the Injil (to Prophet Isa a.s), and the Qur'an (to Our Prophet Muhammad SAW), which is considered the final and unaltered revelation.

• The Prophets are chosen by Allah to convey His message and guidance to humanity. The primary role of a rasul is to deliver Allah’s message and guide people in matters of faith, morality, and conduct. They act as intermediaries between Allah and humanity.

5) Belief in the Day of Judgment (Hari Qiamah)

• The Day of Judgment refers to the day when all humans will be resurrected and held accountable for their deeds during their lives. This marks the end of worldly life and the beginning of the afterlife.

6) Belief in Qada' and Qadar

• This refers to the belief in predestination, where Allah has knowledge of everything that happens and has a divine plan for the universe, while still allowing for human free will.

Khusyu' : A state of humility and focus in a prayer, essential for spiritual sucess.

1. At-Ta'ah: Khusyuk reflects our obedience to Allah, focusing fully on Him during prayer.

2. Al-Jihad: Achieving khusyuk requires effort and striving to overcome distractions.

3. Tawaddu': Humility in prayer leads to a sincere focus on Allah, acknowledging our smallness before Him.

4. Muhasabah: Self-reflection before and after prayer helps improve our focus and connection with Allah.

5. Iffah: Modesty in prayer means resisting worldly distractions, keeping the heart pure and focused on Allah.

• Khusyu' (خشوع) is a state of humility, attentiveness, and deep concentration during acts of worship, especially in prayer (salat). It refers to being fully focused and present in mind, heart, and body while engaging in worship, particularly when standing before Allah in prayer.

3. "Certainly will the believers have succeeded: They who are during their prayer humbly submissive" (Al-Mu'minun: 1-2)

Why Do Muslims Fast?

• To Fulfill the Command of Allah: Fasting is a commandment in the Quran, and it is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is seen as an essential act of worship to obey and seek closeness to Allah.

• To Develop Piety (Taqwa): Fasting helps purify the soul and teaches self-control, humility, and empathy for others. It encourages gratitude and a stronger connection with Allah.

• Spiritual Benefits: It is a time for Muslims to focus more on prayer, recitation of the Quran, and seeking forgiveness. It allows them to cleanse their hearts from negative emotions and focus on self-improvement.

1) Increases Piety (Taqwa):

• Fasting strengthens our consciousness of Allah and enhances our piety by helping us control desires and focus on worship.

2) Empathy for the Poor:

• Experiencing hunger and thirst during fasting helps us empathize with those in need, encouraging compassion and charity.

3) Purification of the Soul:

• Fasting purifies the heart and soul by removing negative traits like greed and anger, while teaching self-discipline and patience.

4) Opportunity for Self-Improvement:

• Ramadan is a time for reflection, self-improvement, seeking forgiveness, and enhancing our relationship with Allah through worship.

5) Multiplied Rewards (Pahala):

• Every good deed performed during Ramadan, such as prayer, charity, and fasting, is rewarded with multiplied blessings from Allah.

• Sadaqah is voluntary charity given at any time and in any amount, while zakat is obligatory and has specific rules and recipients. Sadaqah can be given at any time, but zakat must be paid once a year.

   • Zakat purifies the wealth of the giver by removing the negative influence of greed and selfishness. It helps to detach the heart from materialism and makes wealth a tool for good.

2. Spiritual Growth:

   • Giving zakat increases taqwa (God-consciousness). It strengthens one’s relationship with Allah, as it requires the giver to acknowledge Allah’s ownership of everything and to give in His name.

3. Promotion of Social Justice:

   • Zakat helps bridge the gap between the rich and the poor by redistributing wealth. It reduces inequality, alleviates poverty, and ensures that everyone has access to basic needs.

4. Fosters Empathy and Compassion:

   • By helping those in need, the giver develops a sense of empathy and compassion. It reminds Muslims of the hardships others face and encourages acts of kindness and generosity.

5. Encourages Community Welfare:
