The secound step is to Define what is needed to solve this problem. We need an efficient, inexpensive, an easy way to light up places such as people's homes. Thomas Edison decided the key to finding the right materials for a light bulb would be a long-lasting incandescent material, delamination of air from the bulb, and a filament with high resistant material.

The third step is to make and test your Solutions. Thomas Edison made over 1000 attempts at creating the light bulb that were all unsuccessful. He finally overcame this by using carbonated bamboo filaments inside of his light bulb.
