Most people I've met aspire to do what they love and be happy. However, many are content with not reaching their dreams, and that's okay too. As long as people are satisfied with what they have, that's all that matters, in my opinion. I haven't really thought about having a dream. As long as I'm happy and comfortable, that's all I really want. For a while, I thought about joining the military, but I was dissuaded for personal reasons. Here recently, I've been thinking about becoming a clinical psychologist so that I can help people feel better about themselves and their life. Helping people feel better is something I try my best to do every day, so having a profession where helping people is an everyday thing sounds great. Being a successful adult to me would look like having a house. It doesn't have to be a huge house, just something I'm comfortable in and happy with. Having a good credit score is also something that would be important. This is because your credit score determines what you can and can't buy such as cars and houses. Finally, having everything in order such as bills and bank accounts is a must. This is because if you don't keep everything in order, it all goes into chaos. You can't remember the last bill you paid and you're living from paycheck to paycheck. It is also important to keep a savings account so you can have money put away for emergencies. There really is no right answer to success. There are a lot more freedoms here than in most other places in the world. We have a self-elected government, freedom of speech, freedom to do what we want when we want with regulations, and more. I don't think I would be the same person I am today without the freedoms we have here in America. One thing I love about being an American is that there is so much to explore here. With a plethora of states to visit and tons of sites to see in each, I couldn't think of a better place to start traveling. There is so much to see in one state, let alone 50. However, the rest of the world is nothing to sneeze at either. The last thing I love about America is the constitution. With the constitution, we have the right to do certain things without the fear of those rights being taken away. This document makes sure that every citizen is protected from unfair acts by the government and makes sure that their simple freedoms are not taken away. One thing I wish was different about America is the amount of division between people. Everyone is always divided, whether it's from politics, beliefs, or even race. I think all the division is pointless because in the end, everyone is equal and we're all American. Another thing I wish was different about America is the gas prices. The gas prices going up more only causes the price of food and other items to go up more. This in turn causes people to lose more money. I believe we should open our own fuel lines back up in order to keep fuel prices down. The last thing I wish was different about America is the voting process. Nowadays, it's much too easy to rig a vote because everything is digital. I'm not disagreeing with it being digital, however, they should put better precautions up so that people with basic computer skills can't hack a vote. They represent different ideals, which lets people decide which idea and party they like best. Politics affect our daily lives because there are always debates between different political parties.
