It originated in the Dominican Republic. The most commonly used instruments are maracas, guitars, and bongo drums. The dancer's upper body is used much more than their lower body. The dancer bends his or her knees a little, making it easier to sway their hips, which is one of the main dance motions.</div>]]></description>
