-Eastern Kansas has wooded areas and rolling hills.
-Western Kansas has high plaines.
-One-third of Kansas is a prairie.
-Dramatic climate
-Subtle landscape
-Very windy
-Known for having tornadoes
-Wildfires happen oftenly in the prairie due to hot weather and dry grass.
