What methods does this activist use to promote reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people?

Jennie Williams' "Nalujuk Night in the Rain" was created for a project started by Lee-Ann Martin which serves as a response to the Truth and Reconciliation commission's call for the inclusion of indigenous histories and memory practices in Canada's heritage. The purpose of this project is to address the erasure of Indigenous women by creating an exhibition featuring a balance of digital and traditional arts of over 50 indigenous women artists. Jennie William's piece was made with the intention of celebrating and conserving the traditions and practices of her Inuit heritage to create a " - visual record of a particular time, place, and people.". She photographs regular indigenous people in their everyday lives. The pieces of her Nalujuk Night series was primarily located in Nain and the masked figures present in the images represent characters that are rumored to come inland from the Eastern sea ice.
