- Search engine provides images of clothing/suggested clothing to make it easier to find, gives more outfit ideas and is a good way of selling products on their site. Also encourages other items to go with outfit, to create a whole look for the customer, engaging more activity by consumers/customers. (Good marketing method)

- Main colours are pink/white, which are friendly and appealing to target audience. (girls)

It looks at what you like/ follow and will then share those things with you on the home page. They will email you updates of who has followed you or decided to share a post of yours. Its easy to navigate and use. On the home page promotions are immediately introduced which encourages us to want to buy things because we are made to feel that we are saving money. Visually the page is quite inviting, given the bright colours; the vibrance of the pink helps create a happy, ‘girly’ feel to the website. Also the way their use of wording such as ‘hurry’ adds a sense of urgency which I find engaging because it makes me feel as though, if I don’t, I may be missing out. I think that if they had a drop down menu so less words were on the static screen and the articles down the side were the titles only (as a hyperlink) and not the first few sentences, the reader would be more inclined to click instead of get spooked by the amount of written copy on the page and instantly shut off from the content of the website.

The main engagement method that YouTube uses is through video recommendations, the process of this being; YouTube remembering previous videos watched so then the data is stored within the webpage and the next time an individual goes back onto the page another video can be recommended based on the previous streamed videos. An engagement method used is the websites link to external webpages such as their own social media page and also YouTube videos about James Bond, however this isn’t an effective form of engagement due to the fact that the link connected to their social media is surrounded with more text with the same font and colour (Comic Sans, Blue) making it difficult for a user to differentiate the link and ordinary text.The visual appearance of the website impacts 007museum very negatively due to the underlining main factor being; the font size and photos are extremely big creating a simplistic and unprofessional representation of the website.
