         <description><![CDATA[<div>Happy Tuesday! <br>So this is week #2 working on my goal of resistance training twice a week. I will admit I like the accountability that comes with posting in Padlet. I will need to work on keeping the path when the semester ends. <br>I haven’t increased my loads or reps yet, I’m finding that I am sufficiently challenged with my current plan.  Now if I can figure out how to copy my actual routine with loads, reps, and sets I’ll be in good shape!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Good (rainy) morning everyone! Week 3 off to a great start. Was able to get my workout in before the Y got busy. <mark><br></mark>So I have this love/hate relationship with carbs. I’m sure most of us do. lol!! As I was putting my whole grain bagel package away, I noticed a QR scan code on a package of Butternut buns that read ‘be informed: go to whyeatbread.com’. Well this got my curiosity going and I scanned the code. Nice little website dining the virtues of bread and bread products and why we should eat them. I clicked around for a little to see what there was to see. <br>To go in line with my ‘complex carbs’ posting, here are some interesting facts about bread:<br>The first grinding stone was invented by the Egyptians around 8000BC. They started out with flatbreads until they found yeast made the bread  rise. It was also a form of currency used interchangeably with money. I guess that’s where the slang name for money ‘bread or dough’ comes from perhaps. <br><br>And that’s my ‘food for thought’ on this wet morning. Have a great day everyone!!🥖🍞🥐</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Week three down!!</div><div>Life tried to derail my intentions. I was planning on lift day #2 being Friday after work. It never fails when I plan to work out after work something always prevents me. I left work an hour late yesterday. Ugh!!! So I headed straight home to make dinner and relax. BUT I got up early this morning (6am) and went to the Y. I got my lift ON!!!<br>One more week and I’ve earned a pedicure. Yay me!!have a great weekend everyone. </div>]]></description>

I’m starting to transition my current routine to fit the new pattern. I usually don’t run and lift on the same day but today I changed that.
