Looking back at the work i've found inspiration from this semester there is a strong emphasis on creating shapes whether that be through typesetting, typography or image making. I have found the influence of unique typography has been strong in my work as I've explored more different ways to make my text more interesting rather than sticking to simple fonts. My tastes have changed slightly throughout the semester, I can see this more clearly through the choices of colour. Earlier on I had more interest in designs with less bold colours and more muted and cooler tones. I can see this change as my recent posts are quite bold and of warmer tones. Choices of materials have changed as well, the work earlier on is mostly created digitally whereas recent posts have more tangible materials such as different paper and creating designs using unique materials like keyboard keys which I would like to explore more in my future work.
