Bronze bow is an overall very detailed book. I really like how the characters communicate in the story. One thing I dislike about the story though, it is hard to follow the characters.

Daniel Bar Jamin is a young man who was bound in slavery, then he ran away to a rebellion group. He is a very soft-hearted and loving to his family, but being in the group of thieves, he has started to harden his heart. He has gotten jealous over time because he met someone named Joel Bar Hezron, who lived an almost perfect life with his family. Daniel is a kind person in a group of thieves.

Alliteration: chapter 2 page 19. Around him there was a brief efficient struggle, a few blows, some wailing shouts, the scream of a camel, all muffled in a spurt of choking dust.

Rising action: chapter 3 page 34. Simon let him think for a moment. (Don’t you want to see your grandmother again, and sister?) He did not answer. He was ashamed to say that he didn’t want to see them, but it was true. ( They have worried about you, just as I have.) Said Simon.(If you go back with me you need to stay only a day or two. Just to let them see you are very good. It would please them.)

My honest opinion is that The Bronze Bow needs more action. It's kind of bland for my taste and I prefer more interesting characters. The overall story is pretty creative, but could establish it more. It is a hard read; especially for people with low attention spans.

I think Daniel is mad at Hezron for liking the Roman synagogue and not care much about the Roman situation.

I also think he is very brave for actually being rude and spitting right under the Roman's noses.

But he is also rash like his father and is stupid by making that rude gesture towards the Romans.

I do not like this book at all. I think it’s boring, and too confusing. And it’s very slow and not very fun to read.
