As you know the U.S.A just got a new president and Rome impacts some of our government today. To make laws we need branches, and the branches today are judicial, legislative, and executive. We actually get these branches from Rome. We also both have a senate just like Rome also. One of the last things we have in common with Rome for government is that all aldults can vote.

There are many things that our world today copies the Romans even things in our neighborhoods. Concrete actually comes from Romans. Concrete actually brings us to our next thing Romans did for us like the building us walk in everyday, They had theaters, public baths,( I feel like that is almost like a pool today.) We also have aches and cloumns today. We have them in lots of building. Now this brings us to what almost every person have in the world today our house, now we all know that there are many, many different types of houses, Rome also shared this similarities they actually had two differnt types of houses they had apartments and large townhouses

Romans figured out that volcanic ash and lime mortar makes concrete. This material was used for the base of building in Rome then later covered up was prettier materials that appealed to the eye. Concrete actually brings us to our next thing that the Romans did for us like the building us walk in everyday, They had theaters, public baths,( I feel like that is almost like a pool today.) They had temples, libraries, public meeting spaces, monuments, bridges and aqueduts and arches and columns. Arches are also used for entrances and they had columns in theaters also. Columns were not any in theaters they were found everywhere from temples to just regular building. The Romans mostly used corinthian columns. Now this brings us to what almost every person have in the world today our house, now we all know that there are many, many different types of houses. Apartments were set up like this they had lots of windows just like the towns hosues and the townhouses were for wealthier Romans they had in the townhouses a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and a small gardens out back.
