The reader can trust the narrator because the narrator is telling the reader  he drank alcohol.  Something that can change one personality is that they stop drinking alcohol.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Yes we can trust what the narrator tells us because we know that Poe was an alcoholic and he could have wrote about that problem that he had. What can cause one's personality to dramatically change is that they could have a terrible injury or an accident so that is why their personality could dramatically change.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I think the reader can trust what the narrator tells us, It seems true the way he tells it, they honestly kind of tell us what alcohol can do to you, like poe acts crazy and kills people? that's not normal. And alcohol can cause someones personality to change, And it can cause someone to walk weird, ETC.</p>]]></description>

The reader would be able to trust that the narrator is stating the truth because the things he did would be things done when one is under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol also causes you to do things you wouldn't usually do and the narrator stayed that he loved animals all his life and still loved them as an adult, and that he loved his wife and Pluto and all his other pets. So this informs this is something clearly out of the norm for him.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The narrator did those actions without having self control over it so I do think that once he realized what he did he had at least a little bit of guilt. However I do think it is indeed human nature to be urged upon to do something you shouldn't however, typically it is not as bad as to physically harming someone and/or something that could lead to that person and/or thing dying due too it.</p>]]></description>
