My name is Sanda Violeta, I am 36 years old and I live in Romania.

I have been a primary school teacher for 11 years. I have been working at the "Antonie Vodă" Secondary School, Popești, Brazi commune, for 7 years.

The city of Bari has a thousand-year history and preserves numerous monuments and tourist attractions of great interest. One of the most famous places is the Basilica of San Nicola, which houses the relics of San Nicola di Bari, one of the most venerated saints in the world. Other places of interest are the Cathedral of San Sabino, the Norman-Swabian Castle and the Petruzzelli Theatre, one of the largest opera houses in Italy.

Bari is also a very lively and bustling city, with a rich nightlife, a lively music scene and numerous restaurants, bars and cafes where you can enjoy the typical cuisine of Puglia. The school is arranged on two levels and an attic.

On the ground floor, primary school students learn in five classrooms, there is an office for primary school teachers, the school director's office and the dining room.

On the first floor are the classes from the secondary school cycle. Also here is the library, a chancellery for teachers, the doctor's office, the school counselor's office. In the attic are the laboratories (for physics, chemistry and Stem) and the festival hall.

The school also has a separate building in which there is a gym.

In the school yard there is also a green space with grass and trees, a place where children go out for recreation or carry out outdoor activities.

This is a modern and well-equipped school with smart boards, video projectors, computers, high-performance printers and laboratories.

I work at Orokieta Primary School, teaching English to kids from 6-9 years. I participated in some e-twinning projects and this is the first about STEM, so I’m happy to join this interesting project. I expect to learn a lot.

In the 17th century, Mihai Viteazul bought an estate from the nobles, and the city of Ploiești developed on the site of the old Wallachia fairs of Târgușor, Gherghița and Bucov. The city developed rapidly with the exploitation of oil deposits in the area and the emergence of its refining facilities, thus the city was nicknamed the "Capital of Black Gold". Currently, four refineries operate in the city of Ploiești, and other industries based on this economic branch are also developed in the area, such as: vehicle construction, electrical equipment, maintenance and others. The city of Ploiești is an important transport hub, being located on the roads connecting Bucharest to Transylvania and Moldova. The city of Ploiești is located near the Prahova Valley, the most popular mountain tourist area in Romania.

There are around 700 students in our school, from 2 to 12 years old.

The school has got  2 buildings, one for Primary and one for Kindergarten.
