When Thomas was 12, he failed school and was kicked out. He lived in England until 1774, when he moved to Pennsylvania with his friend Benjamin Franklin. After reaching Pennsylvania, Thomas turned over to Journalism for his occupation. After finding his career, he became very well known all over the world. He gave us brilliant ideas and helped make our government strong. When Thomas was promoting independence, it was one of the reasons why the government made the Declaration of Independence.
