The goose said to herself that Wilbur doesn`t know he`s going to be killed. The sheep knows because she has seen many spring pigs be killed at Christmastime.
2.

Two Clues from Us
1. Food is scarce in winter so they have to kill an animal on the farm.
2 There weren`t any grocery stores back then.
3. For Christmastime, you have to make more food.
Inference (Something the story hints at, but we have to figure out for ourselves!)
That`s how you know Wilbur is going to be killed, because of my ideas and what the sheep and goose tell us.

Setting
The setting is Mr. Zuckerman`s farm. It`s set in the past because there are farms in that time. The farm smells like hay and has a hired man named Lurvy.

Characters
The main character is Wilbur. He is a young pig. He has white skin and pink ears and snout. Fame doesn`t go to his head and wanted friends. He was raised by a girl named Fern.

Plot
Wilbur was raised by a girl named Fern. Once he was big enough to be sold. He was sold to Mr. Zuckerman. He met Charlotte who seemed cruel but proved to be a friend. The old sheep told Wilbur he was going to be killed around Christmastime. Charlotte saved Wilbur by writing on her web to make him seem good. The problem was that Wilbur was going to be killed around Christmastime. The solution was that Charlotte wrote on her web to make Wilbur seem like a good pig.

Wilbur judged Charlotte because she ate bugs. It`s bad because Wilbur thought it was cruel but Charlotte was just trying to survive. The main idea is that you shouldn`t judge a book by it`s cover.
2.Mr. Zuckerman judged Wilbur by going to kill him around Christmastime.
