We used WhatsApp for marketing, targeting students. We promoted our product in various student groups using attractive posters and highlighted its multi-flavored options to appeal to a wide range of tastes. Additionally, we encouraged word-of-mouth marketing by asking satisfied customers to share their experiences.

Despite our success, we faced challenges such as competition from similar businesses, balancing academic responsibilities with the project, and managing low profit margins. These obstacles taught us the importance of differentiation, time management, and persistence. We surpassed the RM100 profit goal at the end of the semester, which was a noteworthy accomplishment for us as novice business owners.

This study demonstrated the effectiveness of social media in increasing sales and underlined the need of cooperation, flexibility, and customer service. Partnering with Mochi by Ika was a rewarding experience that not only met our project goals but also inspired us to explore entrepreneurship further in the future.

This experience helped me develop a better understanding of the dropshipping concept, specifically how it mitigates the requirement for upfront inventory investment. Additionally, I discovered how crucial it is to keep lines of communication open with both customers and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries satisfaction.

There were difficulties with the experience. We received feedbacks regarding several type's sweetness levels as well as requested for additional choices. We learned from these experiences how important it is to pay attention to and adjust to customers. We were able to improve customer satisfaction by interacting with our supplier and adjusting our marketing strategies.

In addition to improving my understanding of entrepreneurship, this task contributed in my personal development. I became more organized, became more adept at communicating with customer, and learnt how to deal with practical business challenges. All things considered, this experience prepared me for future opportunities by providing me with a realistic glimpse of the challenges and rewards of operating a business.

This demonstrated to me that the secret to success is understanding what your customers desire.

Additionally, I discovered the importance of internet marketing. We used TikTok to reach more people and WhatsApp to communicate with them directly. We were able to connect with customers and promote our items thanks to these channels. It demonstrated to me how important it is to use the appropriate tools in order to expand a business. 

Another important aspect of this project was teamwork. Every member of our team had a specific responsibility, such as managing marketing, operations, or finances. We collaborated to finish our assignments and find solutions to issues. I learnt how to collaborate with others and improve my communication skills from this experience.

There were some challenges along the way. It was challenging to control expenses, particularly when using the cash-on-delivery approach. Additionally, we had to pay attention to what customers had to say so that we could make improvements to our products. I learnt from this that managing a business requires persistence and ongoing development.

Looking back, I feel proud of what we achieved. I improved my understanding of what it takes to manage a business and learnt useful abilities. I learnt how to be creative, collaborate well with others, and keep customers in mind while working on this project. I've been motivated to take on new projects in the future because of it.

In conclusion, creating Mochi by Ika's business portfolio was more than a simple assignment and inspired me. It taught me how to express ideas into reality and provided me with real entrepreneurship experience. I will never forget this experience since it helped me become a better business owner.

As a group, we collaborated with Mochi by Ika to sell mochi to UNIMAS students, lecturers, and staff. Additionally, I viewed this task as a learning opportunity that I could apply in future business endeavors. In selling mochi, I promoted advertisements on WhatsApp through group messages and status updates. We took orders via messages from customers. As for delivery matters, we only needed to wait for the Mochi by Ika team to deliver the orders to us on time and in good condition. This was crucial because the mochi had to reach the customers in excellent condition to ensure their satisfaction and to receive positive feedback.

Throughout the business period, we also faced some challenges. For instance, we needed cash for payments and could not use bank QR codes. Since most students are cashless, it was difficult for us to collect payments. However, we found a solution which is customers would pay us via QR, and we would withdraw the money from an ATM to pay the Mochi by Ika team.

In addition, we conducted a group presentation to explain our business process and results in front of the lecturer. Afterward, we were required to prepare a written report and a business portfolio as the next task. Through this, I learned how to complete this assignment with the help of my group members. I truly appreciate the efforts of myself and my group members in achieving our objectives for this business.

In conclusion, creating the business portfolio and report was an achievement for me. This entire experience became a valuable lesson for me in trying new things.

The dropshipping model has allowed Mochi by Ika to concentrate on what is truly important: making high-quality, freshly prepared mochi and providing an enjoyable client experience. I was able to focus on branding, marketing, and client involvement by collaborating with reputable suppliers and employing an effective online order fulfillment platform. This strategy has enabled a lean operation in which inventory management, packaging, and shipping are outsourced, lowering the financial risks involved with purchasing bulk goods and warehousing.

However, the dropshipping model did bring some issues. Maintaining control over packing quality and guaranteeing timely deliveries needed close collaboration with suppliers and delivery partners. As a result, I've learned the value of choosing trustworthy and dependable partners to ensure the high standards that MOCHI BY IKA promises to its clients.

The experience of running MOCHI BY IKA as a dropshipper taught me the value of developing good relationships with suppliers and consumers. Effective communication and transparent service are critical to achieving customer happiness and protecting the brand's reputation. I've also learned the need of adaptability, particularly when dealing with operational difficulties like delays or product anomalies, and ensuring that they are rectified as soon as possible to maintain consumer trust.

To summarize, operating Mochi by Ika as a dropshipping business has proven to be an economical and scalable solution, allowing me to focus on what is most important delivering outstanding mochi while building the brand. Lessons acquired from this strategy will continue to guide me as I develop the business and explore new prospects.
