         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1. What was this event?</strong><br>On October 2, 1968, a terrible event happen that trascended the way people in Mexico saw the government. In the la Plaza de las Tres Culturas, a massive shooting from part of the government cause the death of 300 students that were peacefully marching against the participation of Mexico in the Olympic games. This discontents occured because the economy in Mexico was going through though times and wasn't in the position to host this international games.<br><br><strong>2. Why was this important in Mexican History?</strong><br>This event, althought, violent help for the seek of a more honest and less corrupted government. Also, the freedom of speech and express of opinion started to spread through the country in the younger generations.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Why was this event important for Mexican History?<br>Because was very relevant because the death of Alvaro Obregon caused Plutarco to control the country during the party called Chief of the Revolution that ended the period of the caudillos. <br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>
