         <description><![CDATA[<p>Taking inspiration from old-school (1970s-2000s) and putting out futuristic twist onto, as we feel the future would have a drain of colour very basic and simple yet it has that cool mysterious look to it. </p><p><br></p><p>By being simple and having small details on our costumes shows how our human identity has been drained from us and we are formatting to this futuristic life where there is no human connection. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Exploring the concept of what movement would look like in future alongside finding what can inspire us…</p><p><br></p><p>For example, the pictures of the sounds patterns could be interpreted as how we move through time. What is the journey of time look like from our perspective as everyone sees the world different.</p><p><br></p><p>The  idea control and glitching comes to mind with this mood board as the future is not here yet nothing is set in stone, are we leaving in reality or in our ideal imagination? On the surface that idea that everything is perfect everyone dresses cool but under the surface there is a broken down system where human connection is lost and all human emotion is gone… </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Exploration of a darker colour platte for lighting, this allows us to carry on the idea of the mystery which is constantly hanging in our futures. </p><p><br></p><p>The idea of playing with more linear and angular lighting and formations conveys how we have lost our human connection through there is no freedom and a constant routine/control through all of us. Making a clear visual for the audience will allow them to absorb our movement choices more making our intention stronger. </p><p><br></p><p>The use of shadowing and a siloet will add the idea of we are all clones in the future and the blur behind what actually is the future. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This piece has inspired me for costumes and movement…</p><p>-I love how simple the costumes are by using one colour palette and the dancers face being covered. This adds the idea of the mystery behind the dancers leaving the audience to question there everyone movement. By having one dancers face partial seen allows the audience to have one human connection throughout the performance. </p><p>-The movement behind the performance has a strong use of alignment and angles within the piece. This creates a strong and powerful presence for the audience to watch making it quite intimidating and mysterious…  </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I found inspiration from this performance as the costumes don’t  necessarily match the music of the performance. The costumes have a Victorian period style to them whereas the music at that time was present day. This makes the performance captivating and intriguing as it is not what was expected. This allows the audience to build up anticipation and leaves a lasting effect after the performance is finished which I feel as a group we should aim for. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Me and Jessie are in charge of the section with technology. Through working together we created a time line of what we want our section to look like, keeping in mind our intention for the whole piece and how are section can rely that.</p><p><br></p><p>We came up with the concept with the questions, what the future will look like and how does that impact us as humans? In mind when thinking our our story arc. </p><p><br></p><p>The idea of that AI has control over us to the point we all act, speak, think and move the same. Except there is our protagonist how still has a conscious of what human connection is like and how we can think for ourselves. The protagonist breaks off and one-by-one the other dancers start to follow and explore this 'different' way of living, but then by the end the other dancers turn back to their 'normal' ways and our protagonist is back where they stared trapped in this new AI way of living.... </p><p><br></p><p>We have decided to use a narrative and rondo structure for this section, as it highlights how AI has took over and that there is a little human connection left in the future but the rondo emphasises that there is no escape to the new way of living.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Doublejointed by Mikey J </p><p><br></p><p>Here is a suggestion of music. I found this song and felt there is a repetition of the same phrase of beats throughout with interruptions of other phrases of beats. The song uses no lyrics and just focuses on clear beats. </p><p><br></p><p>Personally, this song emphasises of being in the same cycle yet the phases that interrupt that structure shows the idea that human connection is still alive and wants to fight back. </p><p><br></p><p>This song has a strong hip hop, The style is a very expressive and free style no need to look like anyone else as everyone over different. As hip hop is a culture creating a community and a safe space for everyone from all walks of life on the street. Which links to our intention to this section. </p>]]></description>

This still allows for collaboration throughout the piece but helps to prevent time-wasting and group arguments with people having the final say, and not having the same person throughout. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Throughout our music we have used repetition of static white noise, to indicate a relatable noise which everyone has heard before. The noise usually indicates something going wrong with technology like a broken TV. This emphasises that this future is not real it is only one of our perceptive of what the future will be. This gives the audience a audio reminder of our concept and ideas allowing it to stay present within the piece.</p><p><br></p><p>The repetition can be a contextual reference as for people who has been around a broken Tv is aware of this noise and puts a strong visual and emotional picture in their head of when a tv is broken and the frustration it brings with it. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Choreograghic Mapping is a way of divising and creating a piece of movement. This allows to make a clear break down of the whole piece into smaller sections and the breaking up it again. </p><p><br></p><p>This allows us to grow a greater understanding our piece, therefore we can create movement with a purpose and as dancers perform the piece as authentic as when can to our stimulus. </p><p><br></p><p>This adds layers to our piece and our creative thinking as performers, while creating our visual representations so we can follow and stick along to add our plan </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Within our section we have stuck to our originally Idea of our structure, however with the help of choreographic mapping, we have grew a deeper understanding of our intention, this has allowed us to play with formations and movement, use of choreographic devices such as repetition. </p><p><br></p><p>We thought this would highlight our concept of breaking free and not being absorbed into the way the future is structured with technology. </p><p><br></p><p>By planning formations allows us to figure our transitions as well hopefully making our rehearsal slots smoother and clam for everyone as we are planned ahead. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>-Todays session was a very productive session. We started the session with having our usual group chat (that we have at start of every session) to make sure our comunication with everyone is strong and no one is feeling left-out, confused or lost in what we are doing. We decided to do the first 45 mins working on music, theory, and choreographing our sections, we do this by splitting into smaller groups and then just check in with everyone is ok with decisions if not them we reevaluate until we have came up with a solution.</p><p><br></p><p>-In the first 45 mins me and Jessie started to refine and add on to our section (which is concept of technology in the future) we was adding to the end of the section, we started to play wit different timings within the music and see what that would look like to work with different polyrhyms and textures. We managed to create a strong 5 counts of 8 of choreography which we are going to teach and then mix up and play when everyone has the base layer.</p><p><br></p><p>-In the last 45mins, Hannah started to teach her section to us all and the we all together started to work collaboratively to play with formations and transitions within the Hannahs sections, but letting Hannah have the final say so it still matches what she envisioned but with some of hints of the rest of us.</p><p><br></p><p>-The goal for next session is too clean and refine this section and learn another section.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>-Todays session I personally struggled in, as the aim of the session was to finish all smaller sections such as duets trios and solos and the people who was not involved with any of them to work on the theory side and music for the piece. However, the trio decided they didn’t want it to be a trio and changed it to a group piece alongside changing there them without discussing it as a group. This made me confused as I couldn’t see/understand how this would fit into our storyline as feminism was not a concept we discussed or explored as a group. As the point of the trio was to pull Eve into the future through showing how indivuduals have more power over others. However, as a dancer I had to do my job and learn the choreography and not challenge the choreographer of the section in this case and I don’t think I would be able to contribute anything helpful as I was still trying to make this make sense in my head.</p><p><br></p><p>-To build on this, before the next session I plan to figure out how feminism fits into our perception of the future alongside building a map just for me to grow my understanding of the piece allowing me to develop my character within the piece and this section in particular.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>-Todays session was quite a difficult session, as a collective we was not happy with our narrative and the order of the different sections. As when we performed it back in our last session, we received feedback off the audience that it was hard to read each section, this made us re-evaluate our sections as a group it didn’t feel great to dance as well. So we sat down and spoke our options honestly and openly to each other to make sure we was all on the same page and no one was feeling left out or not heard. After having some guidance off our mentor, we decided to mix our sections up with the order, and to fix the remaining sections by making them more 360 rather than front facing.</p><p><br></p><p>We decided to have the order of fashion, Power, Human connection, Feminism and technologly.</p><p>However human Connection will be dotted throughout the piece, with Melle and Eve being our two main protagonists, with Eve looking for the human connection and Melle being that human connection. Then we have Ollie who is our Antagonist who is the person in charge of the future and is playing mind games on Eve when at the end of the piece it is revealed that Melle is a form of AI Ollie was using to show Eve who is uncharge of the future.</p><p><br></p><p>Our structure has changed as instead of using a narrative we are going to play with the concept of what the future will look like with different society themes. This allows us to set the theme of the future before our human connection journey begins in our piece. Allowing us to set the tone and picture for the audience at the very start.</p><p><br></p><p>-Ideas we came up in todays session was the idea that we have the repetition of a whistling noise throughout to show Ollie’s power and control in the future, with eve being that hint of a rebellion and curious behaviour which goes on behind Ollies back. This takes inspiration from the books/movies the hunger games, being in that structured, lifeless, and militant world yet there is people who have heard of the past and want to explore what that is.</p><p><br></p><p>-For lighting, I have been put in charge of this therefore I have started looking Into different key words and trying to educate my self on terminology. An Idea that I expressed at some point in the dance we could have eve wondering around on stage and in the background have Melle upstage right or left in spotlight, watching and learning about Eve to get her to understand the ‘human’ connection between them. Then at the end to have Melle and Eve In the centre in a spotlight, Movement wise Eve trying to hug Melle then Melle is glitching away showing her true identity of AI while Ollie is upstage right or left in another spotlight controlling Melle and basically saying he has won this game that he has been playing. Now eve is stuck in this reality of the future she does not want to be in. Linking back to our originally Idea that in the future there is no human connection and our minds have been sacrificed to AI and the new way of living.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>After re thinking our idea and starting all our piece again, we allowed ourselves a moment to communicate all our thoughts and feelings as a group as we have a time limit to pull our piece together as we have scrapped our idea 2 weeks before the performance which can be stressful. However, we have really pulled it around my working creatively together and communicating even better then we was before. By working efficiently and collaboratively we have kept adding layers to our narrative, as now we have created more a cinematic feel to our piece, with the play on creative roles such as having our two leads finding a human connection, with our villain leader trying to control Eve our protagonist then having that rebellion which challenges the Villian’s power and turning everyone on there side.</p><p><br></p><p>By having our main storyline with the little story lines on the sides allows us to explore the idea of having the audience own perceptive on the piece, linking to our ordinal concept of non of us know what the future is like but we all have are own idea of what it could be like. This allows us to add layers through our movement, structure, creative play and character building. As we have worked on learning how to set a scene through movement with our direction changes, formations, focuses and positioning of the body which has helped us to build a strong vision in our minds which relays our to the audience. Overall, I am happy with my group as we are all listening and open to each others creative minds.</p><p><br></p><p>Within this section we have reconstructed the idea of feminism within our narrative and our setting of the piece. As instead of focusing on society themes we have used them to influence our movement without the peice, as this helps us build the idea of what our future will look like. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We have used the same whistle throughout our piece to create that scary space and a reminder to the audience that something is coming whether its positive or negative. </p><p><br></p><p>We have used Tyler the creator within our peice twice this shows repetition within our music choices, as we feel Tyler creates strong constant beats however they make you want to be free linking to our rebellion as this is when we start to form the freedom in our narrative. </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We all performed our pieces back to each other as a year group. It was our first time watching each others alongside doing a show run...</p><p><br></p><p>Before the show run, as a group we ran and cleaned parts of a piece which as a collective we was unsure on and felt that was messy, this helped bring the groups confidence up. Also, we had a group chat as well of what we want out of this performance, through setting small goals to hit, so not putting too much pressure on ourselves to over perform. </p><p><br></p><p>In the structure of the run, we are closing the show therefore before the our piece we made sure we went out side and had a team talk alongside just warming our bodies up to prevent injury. </p><p><br></p><p>Overall, I feel it went very well and was comfortable to perform as the audience was very supportive and gave us energy. As a groups we felt in-sync. However, we need to work on our personal transitions between formations.  </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Within this session as we continue to develop our narrative and setting. We have introduced the idea of a rebellion which challenges Oliver's power. This then adds to our narrative creating a cinematic feel to the piece, Creating depth and conviction.  </p><p><br></p><p>As a group we decided that I would take this lead of this characterisation through my freestyle, as them break outs show freedom and expression which is the opposite to what Olivers' power represents which is militant and conformed. </p><p><br></p><p>So in progress to this session I need to start personally working on concepts and playing with music to see how I react and how I can develop my character through the freestyle. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Personally, I felt the adrenaline take over so my freestyle felt rushed and too much, there was no levels in energy. I need to breathe and play with my concepts more, to take time and not to get too invested into freestyle so I miss other ques, being present and aware in the freestyle. </p><p><br></p><p>The freestyle concepts I want to play with are... </p><p>-Magnets </p><p>-throwing objects on a table and pulling them back </p><p>-the idea of building and breaking down </p><p>-there is one brick and all the brick wants to do is be a building. </p><p><br></p><p>These freestyle concepts are vague and weird but allow me to expand my movement in different ways through loosing my focus and directional changes.  </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Today's session was just with Me, Eve and Melle as we got a trio together that we needed to work on. </p><p><br></p><p>However, before this session me an eve was listening to range of music genres such as, pop, hip-hop, punk and electric pop. We landed on a slow hip-hop song by Tyler The Creator, as it has slow lyrics we strong beats in the background. Creating that heavy Mysterious feel to it, as we are now starting to form the rebellion as we are getting stronger leading up to the end section. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As a group we came up with playing of the concept of human connection alongside the idea of being part of a rebellion through finding human connection in a world where the human connection has been hidden by AI in the future. </p><p><br></p><p>We had the idea of playing with the idea of building a wall and connecting our heads like what Melle and Eve did in their duet. The repletion of movement allows the audience to understand what we are trying to convey which is human connection. </p><p>As I break through underneath it shows how we are trying to break through this world of no control. </p><p><br></p><p>As the trio moves on me and eve define our connection through use of call and response and manipulation to then finding melle who then joins us. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>This was a really easy session as us three worked very well and played with different ideas and each others ideas, allowing us to grow an understanding of each others movement qualities and creative brains. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This was the first time we ran the trio fully, and in front of people. So the lead up to it I was quite nervous as we have only just formed it, so we was still getting use to the music and timing. </p><p><br></p><p>As a three we choreographed this through structured freestyle and using it to turn into choreography. So when performing it felt free yet strong. Linking to our intention for the trio. </p><p><br></p><p>Personally I think we just need to keep rehearsing it and listening to the music so we get use to all the beats and timing.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As a group we created a choreographic table breakdown, where we divide and explain sections by adding key details, information what the focus is, lighting, props and costumes. I took lead on filling out and taking charge of this table, this is because later on in the process I will be thinking about lighting and lighting ideas. Therefore, by talking to everyone and all the different departments this allows me to gain a greater understanding of our piece, and gather any ideas anyone else has. Through this I worked closely with our creative director Ollie as he has took lead with spacing and over seeing costume as well, with me wanting the lighting to compliment our movement and costumes it was key that I worked with him when creating this table. Furthermore, I found this table very handy as it allowed me as a dancer to start understanding what my narrative is as a dancer.</p><p><br></p><p>With lighting I want to use spotlights and washes to create an mix of open and closed spaces within the movement, to highlight Ollie’s power over the future as there is no escape however when human connection is mentioned the lighting opens up meaning Ollie has lost control and the human connection between Melle and Eve is getting stronger. I feel this will help to convey our narrative through the support of the lighting.</p><p><br></p><p>This creative table helps to create a visual representation of our narrative in a clear and structured format. Helping us as group to have something to look at when we are lost or confused and if we are stuck for movement or narrative creating. By having it as a working document allows us to have freedom and control over what we want as a group.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As our whole structure for our piece as changed, that means we have had to create a new choreographic table breakdown of our new narrative. Again, I took lead on this with the creative directors oversea/help, I found this quite stressful as there was only 1 section we have kept out of everything and with a week till the show this was quite overwhelming but it just means we have to work more collaboratively and mature with each other. The added pressure is stressful but good as it allows us to really get the best work out of us quicker, teaching us more efficient and confident with our idea and concept, linking to how it would be in the outside world of the dance industry. Up till now our group has worked very mature and well together so hopefully we can use this now to continue this fun hard working process.</p><p><br></p><p>Before, creating this new brief I was a tad confused on our new idea of a ‘Dystopian Future’ but by doing this has helped me to understand our new narrative alongside allowing me to add more creative ideas such as adding the idea instead of one storyline lets make it more cinematic with a movie flow. Personally, I have took inspiration from blade runner, maze runner and Hunger games which are all set in this idea of what the future is going to look like. This table allows me to create that feel through personally mapping out lighting and taking away costumes.</p><p><br></p><p>Now we are doing all in white with Ollie in all black to show the power shift in the narrative. Alongside having use all in white but different versions of white and accessories. With the restrictions of lighting, we have no spotlights so I need to think about how we are going to connect lighting to the narrative through maybe use of different colours and washes.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br/></p><p>"<strong>A room is like a stage.</strong> <strong>If you see it without lighting, it can be the coldest place in the world." from Paul Lynde</strong>." <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://plus.google.com/109676535720782879158/">Longmangroup.,(2015)</a></p><p><br/></p><p>This quote helped me to not overthink lighting, as I was stressed about being in charge but with research and guidance off my group it helped me to visualise and choose what we wanted. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>After re thinking lighting, I decided to break up all the sections and listen to the music (with eve who is in charge of the audio choices) together we worked on what colour scheme would work with what section and when the change over would happen. We decided to play with a range of colours matching to our societal themes which we have buried throughout and what colours stem from them, For example, for the duet and trio establishing human connection and a rebellion we have chosen more warm tones like yellow, sunset and sunrise, this allows the audience to have some sort of connection with the feeling of being connected. As these colours have the connotations of warmth, connection, freedom, and peace which is the concept behind our rebellion being free away from this clinical future we have created in our minds. Linking to society now with the idea that AI will take over but non of us know what this looks like.</p><p><br/></p><p>With the time stamps, we have made the changes and fades on non expected parts of the music to help keep the audience engaged and focused so they don’t miss anything. Without the idea of the lighting being overwhelming and distracting we have went with a simplistic yet effective thought process to this by listening to the music over and over, alongside debating with each others ideas. By constantly asking why, made us really try and connect our lighting to our narrative so should flow with music and narrative as well. By debating shows as a group we have respect and an mature outlook on our ideas and other ideas.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As a group we added a new start to our piece, by setting that Eve is not from the future as she walks round touching the floor and us (while we are frozen) Then we see Ollie catch Eve and Create Melle which builds the storyline of the human connection and stating Ollie’s power being stated in the future. Allowing the audience to see where these relationships grow to alongside leaving room for the rebellion to grow throughout. As then it doesn’t feel everything is being thrown in at once, it helps us to create a narrative ark through the piece with creating that growth in story and movement, this allows as well for characters and relationships to grow throughout.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Within the first show run we had a gap in our final section. As a group we decided to cut this section audio wise as we are over the time cap any way, making it less stressful. </p><p><br></p><p>This section is about everyone joining the rebellion without Ollie knowing. So as a group we took inspiration for the style house dance as we felt the style is very uplifting and is usually on the upbeat in the music. So this section is show happiness through us being together and generally enjoying ourselves in our narrative and together as dancers. This adds an up beat feel in comparison to the rest of the dance.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We have finally got our costumes! They came 3 days before the show which was a stress and worry that they wouldn't arrive in time. However they did, now it was just trialling and playing around with different ideas as we all had the same top then added our own flare on to it with white lace/clothing to create that conformed yet mysterious future as no one will know what the future will look like. </p><p><br></p><p>With Melle taking lead on costumes I requested that I wore trousers due to my movement choices within the piece especially in my freestyle, and I felt it fit more with the idea of me representing a rebellion that I don't necessary look feminine or masculine just slightly different from everyone else. </p><p><br></p><p>The photo resembles our final look on show day which worked really well with lighting and it delivered our intention across to the audience. As it had that glamorous feel linking to our ordinal brief of Paris Goebels runway fashion. Alongside, that unknown feel of what we don't know what the future is so by having the hoods and gems on our face enhances that we are hiding behind something but no one knows what that is. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Overall our tech run went very smooth and peaceful, as a group we knew we had to be efficient and professional the best we can be, so before tech we all got ready in costume and got warm preventing any injury.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Within the tech run the Choreography felt strong for me, however after watching back videos from the tech run, I feel like I have to be more conscious where the lighting is especially in my freestyles alongside be aware we centre is. As there was a few moments where I missed centre by a small amount but then messed up the whole of the other formations. </p><p><br></p><p>As for me freestyles I felt strong in them, for the show I wanted to be able to control my adrenaline and really focus on what movement I am trying to convey in this piece. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>My creative process is creating posters of words drawings that come to mind straight away. This lead my mind to dump off random words that came to mind without me over thinking them.</p><p><br></p><p>I drew cards, clouds, a train, angel wings, number 7, CD and headphones highlighting the journey I am on or want to be on and then how music is escape to get away from my new reality. Angel wings wings and the 7 in a remembrance to the person I lost.</p><p><br></p><p>I added juxtaposing words onto the paper or opposite words to the paper. Emphasising how everyone has a different perceptive and opinion on life matters, people, but dance as well. Personally I feel this is how I want my video to come across such as something so simple of a train journey and how it can mean so much more. I find it fascinating how a a bunch of strangers are all on a journey to the same place but for all different reasons coming back to you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. In the video the video could connect to people in all different ways like grief effects people in all different ways as its the loss you have faced its how handle and grow with it. Keeping the person you have lost soul alive alongside re-building and growing your soul from the biggest impact you have faced.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This session was an interesting one as it was an introduction into our solo project. It was interesting as it sent my brain into spirals into floods of ideas but this is what the first two sessions are about. I started the play with the idea of the stages of grief as it is something that I am experiencing through however I didn’t want to make it personal to me, instead looking at it as what I am experiencing looking at it as its something that everyone goes through but it so different for everyone in their own ways.</p><p><br></p><p>For example, sayings that have helped me breathe when feeling suffocated by my grief is…</p><p>“Seeing the world through a different lens”- in the sense that how I saw the world before my loss is completely different to how I see it now.</p><p>“Dealt a shitty deck of cards”- In the sense this is what I have been given to deal with in life and I have got to learn to play with these cards that I didn’t nessaccary want but you have got ti the best with what you have.</p><p><br></p><p>This lead onto the journey of the soul (<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.rememberingalife.com/pages/elizabeth-lewis">Elizabeth, Lewis</a>.(no date) which has five stages like the stages of grief. After research I found that these two link together and that your soul grows and changes through the grief you face. This inspired me to focus in on the journey instead of the emotions leading it to be up for interpretation. As I want the video to highlight my journey that I am on which is confusing full of highs lows, joy and sadness. By using the idea of having a journey on a train going somewhere (don’t know where) but it just me being me with my headphones on but it being like the camera being observant of me.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Today I went outside and played with different angles and different ways I could use a park bench to convey the ,estate I want to convey. </p><p><br></p><p>So I played with the idea of what people use a park bench for so I: </p><p>Sat on it </p><p>Stood by/on it </p><p>Tied my shoe </p><p>Sat/stood by it </p><p>‘Fell asleep’ on the bench </p><p>This allowed me to get different shots and let my mind think of ways I could use the bench in the sense of dancing so I free-styled on the bench to create some movement I could turn into choreography. </p><p><br></p><p>Later on I put the videos into a shot edit to now se what pattern I want to follow when shooting my actual concept </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>On day of filming we came across location challenges and movement challenges. </p><p><br/></p><p>Location, when we arrived at location we was concerned if the camera was going to be able to stand up on the grass as it had been raining. So we was debating leaving the location we was at to then find another bench with more security for the camera. However, this backfired as we got lost within the park then when we found the second location, but it wasn't giving sonder energy and people was sitting on the bench therefore we had to head back to the other location which pushed us for time. </p><p><br/></p><p>Movement  challanges was choreography I had planned to to do on the bench I struggled to do as the Bench was very high up and narrow so had to think on the spot and adapt what I was doing, so make it safe and look natural rather then cautious. </p><p><br/></p><p>Alongside, I felt myself when filming linking back more to the idea of sonder and having less chunks of ankers rather have one big anker at the beginning then 2 random clips at the end to start to break away from the dancing and bringing back to the sonder character sitting on the bench. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Here I am playing with the idea of sitting on the bench, however I am using a sofa to play with movement. this was fun as I found it difficult to move on the bench as there was space restriction and it was higher up so was testing my balance and control. I found this fun as it restricted to my movement allowing me to think more creative freedom as 'limitations lead room for creativity'. </p><p><br></p><p>At first I used freestyle to find ways to move on the sofa to work into choreography as this way it allows me to feel comfortable within was I am doing instead of being forced into it. Linking back to the concept of sonder. </p>]]></description>

Therefore I used post it notes and colour co-ordination to bring my plan/ideas to life.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Ordinally, I wanted to use the song solitude by billie holiday. However, I found that I was not resinating with the song and I had lost my connection to it so I had rethink my song as I felt there was not build in the song it just stayed the same. </p><p><br></p><p>So when listening to different songs I still wanted to keep the coffee shop music Idea in the background, however wanted a more modern feeling in terms of more beats and flow when dancing. This lead me to find 'floating' by raven and hope tala, in the song she is talking about a connection with a person she has interest in, which links to one of my intensions of being on a park bench. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When creating to the song 'solitude' by billie holiday I was thinking of wearing a pastel yellow suit which I found juxaposes the concept of the piece this is because the bright colour can infer happiness, joy, and excitement whereas the song is on about self-islosation and being alone. Which as humans we can all relate to the fear of that or the feeling of that. Connecting to the concept of sonder and human nature. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Now I have switched my song, I have chosen to go with a bright yet comfortable clothing what people can relate to in the sense it is more casual rather than business. I have chosen to go with a bright dark blue jumper and washed out light blue jeans, as it is something I am comfortable to dance in and I feel it is very casual and chill for a day at the park. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As solo project it can be scary to get caught up in your own mind within it as you are creating it yourself. Therefore, a 'scratch night' was created for us to get together to share and gather ideas off each other and support one another through this process....</p><p><br/></p><p>Personally, I was left inspired after hearing everyone's ideas as it made me think about mine in the sense of playing with the idea of 'sonder' and how it follows and links with my ordingial concept. </p><p><br/></p><p>"Sonder is <strong>the feeling you get when you look at another person and realise that they too have a story as complicated and unique as your own</strong>, but unfortunately not even the feeling of sonder can truly help you to grasp the size of that statement." (InThirdPerson, 2024)</p><p><br/></p><p>This helped me link this to the idea of soul searching and human nature, everyone feels the same emotions just expressed in different ways, that the feeling of being alone is not the case as it is human nature to feel that way. </p><p><br/></p><p>However, the scratch night made me think about my song as I feel a song with a narrative may help convey the ideas of how the park bench can convey any story but with my character the audience don't know why I am there or my purpose leading them to create their perception of the bench and the purpose of the bench. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I used this for inspiration within my freestyles for my solo. This is because, I love how the dancers are doing very subtle yet noticeable movements at the beginning which made me feel intrigued as a audience watching it as I was feeling what they wanted me to feel alongside making me want to watch more. Moving further into this process this is what I want my freestyles with my solo to do. </p>]]></description>
