2. I have, the 'othering readings' really challenged me to look closer at perspectives i had initially dismissed. Privileges white people over POC. Was never really educated on this sort of topic but understanding political systems and such made me realise that there is a 'hidden yet clear' bias towards white people. 

Also this concept of 'positionality' where meaning is determined through one's complex identities as well as position towards systemic structures.
